Class teaching

IR100 International Relations: Theories, Concepts and Debates (LSE)

I taught three groups (total 41 students) weekly for the full 2021-22 academic year on this first-year undergraduate course introducing students to IR and a broad range of mainstream and critical approaches to the discipline. In addition to planning and teaching classes, my responsibilities included marking and providing feedback on student essays, holding office hours and providing general support to students. I have also undertaken summative exam marking for this course.

For my teaching, I won a ‘Highly Commended’ LSE Class Teacher Award, as selected by the Head of Department, and was nominated for the LSESU ‘Inspirational Teaching’ award by my students. In my teaching evaluation surveys, I received an average 4.7/5 evaluation in each term, with an 80%+ response rate.

Other teaching experience

MSc IR/IPE dissertation surgeries (LSE)

In summer 2023, I advised master’s degree students in the LSE IR Department on their dissertations, troubleshooting concerns and addressing queries regarding design, methodology, argumentation etc.

Private tutoring

I also have six years of experience offering one-to-one tutoring in IR, politics and law at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, both independently and through top London tutoring agencies.
