Teaching

I have extensive teaching experience across the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, especially on modules concerning IR theory and the international politics of East Asia (listed below), as well as supervisory experience of undergraduate, master’s and PhD dissertation/thesis projects in these areas.

In recognition of this, I have been nominated by my students at both SOAS and LSE for various teaching prizes, and was also awarded a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in 2026.

Convenor and lecturer for this second-year undergraduate module covering a range of themes and case studies across the international politics of East Asia, utilising IR theories and concepts.

Convenor and lecturer for this first-year undergraduate module introducing students to social and critical approaches to the study of international politics.

Class teacher for this core first-year undergraduate module introducing the discipline of International Relations and a broad range of mainstream and critical approaches to its study.
